Zerodec GRGZERODEC is Gillespie's patented laminated glass reinforced gypsum (GRG) and our most frequently used material. Its main attributes are that it is light, non-combustible, has a high quality surface finish suitable for painting. It is strong and rigid and can be crafted to virtually any shape, size or texture.
Zerodec GRG cladding is used extensively by architects and designers as an internal decorative cladding to areas such as ceilings, bulkheads, fascia panels, columns, vaults, domes, cornices and wall panels. Zerodec can be used to disguise and transform any basic building structure such as structural steelwork or blockwork, in order to bring style and ambience to any interior space and to realise the architect’s vision.
Zerodec units are made at our factory in Surrey and can be fitted quickly and easily to any surface on site - vertical, horizontal or inclined - with accuracy and economy. On site installation is essentially a dry process with joints being expressed or filled flush to achieve the smoothest, highest quality finish.
