Gillespie UK were delighted to be chosen to work alongside architects BDP and contractors ISTAK, on their project to build and expand Iceland’s largest shopping mall “Smáralind”.
Iceland has no local production of engineered GRG and with Gillespie UK being Europe’s largest sole manufacturer, we were the supplier of choice with our Zerodec 3d GRG, to supply the ceiling bulkheads and column casings throughout the mall.
Produced off site in a factory environment, then delivered straight to the mall saved the contractor valuable labour time on site.
